Dullstroom offers breathtaking scenery, unpolluted air and clear streams. If offers a multitude of trout farms, cottages, B & B's and guesthouses, and is an ideal holiday destination or stopover on the way to the Kruger National Park, or en-route back to Gauteng from the Lowveld.
Although it is a very small village, it has a lot to offer to the tourist, i.e. art galleries, craft and curio shops, stylish restaurants, pubs, spas and boutiques. Closeby is a bird sanctuary and a bird or prey centre where falconry is practiced.
Dullstroom thus caters not only for the avid fly fisherman, but also for the romantic at heart, adventurers, or anybody that needs some serious unwinding from the pressures of life. |
